About Darlington Alarm Centre

The business was started in 1988 as ABQ Alarms in Middlesbrough by a retiring British Army Captain. In the early nineties the owner, being from Darlington originally, decided to move closer to home, so the business relocated to new premises Whessoe Road, Darlington. At the same time, the name "Darlington Alarm Centre" was introduced.

My involvement with Darlington Alarm Centre started around 1992. At this time I had already gained several years experience in security installations working for various different companies. The owner of Darlington Alarm Centre asked me to work for him doing his installations, servicing and repairs for his customers. This evolved into a great working relationship ending when the owner had to leave Darlington Alarm Centre due to Military commitments. I was then given the opportunity to take over Darlington Alarm Centre looking after our customers and dealing with new installations.

Over the years I have carried on installing, servicing, repairing and generally looking after my customers' alarm systems. Darlington Alarm Centre continues to thrive with a steady demand for burglar alarm isntallation and servicing.
